World Habitat Day 2025 Celebrations

BMTPC participated in the World Habitat Day 2025 celebrations organized by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 8th October, 2025. The Council organized a Painting Competition for Differently Abled Children on the theme “Urban Solutions to Crisis”. The exhibition of the winning entries was also organised on the occasion. The winners of the Painting Competition were felicitated by Shri Tokhan Sahu, Hon’ble Minister of State for Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India during the event.

On this occasion, the Council also brought out Special Issue of Newsletter “Nirman Sarika” on the theme of the World Habitat Day and Book titled “The Rebar Opportunity.  The publication were released by Shri Tokhan Sahu, Hon’ble Minister of State for Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India in the august presence of Shri Srinivas R Katikithala, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India, Shri Kuldip Narayan, JS & Mission Director (HFA), MoHUA and Mr. Shombi Sharp, UN Resident Coordinator during the celebration ceremony of World Habitat Day 2025 held on 8th October, 2025 at New Delhi.
