Low-Carbon Buildings (LCB) Training Modules
Capacity development is a key component of the Asia Low Carbon Buildings Transition (ALCBT) Project, supporting the shift towards low-carbon buildings (LCB) in targeted countries. This initiative fosters collaboration between the public and private sectors while equipping professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to drive sustainable building practices.
As part of this effort, a 30-hour structured professional LCB Training Program is being implemented across project countries. This program enhances technical expertise in low-carbon building design, construction, operation, and financing. It also covers critical topics such as carbon emissions reduction, building energy efficiency and management, and low-carbon building assessment, empowering professionals in the building sector.
The training modules are aligned with global standards and best practices, integrating insights from stakeholder consultations, data-driven analyses, and expert reviews. To promote accessibility and knowledge sharing, these modules are now openly available to all —professionals, students, and anyone interested in sustainable building practices.
