Over the years, the Council has built in-house capacity to undertake project management and consultancy services encompassing appraisal, monitoring, quality assurance and third party inspection of housing projects under the various Central/State Schemes. The Council is presently one of the designated Appraisal and Monitoring agencies for the projects under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).

The appraisal of DPR normally includes technical feasibility of the project, design, drawings & incorporation of disaster resilient aspects as per relevant codal provisions, conformance to technical checklists, financial feasibility including estimates as per updated Schedule of Rate, eligibility of beneficiaries etc. The field visits are also undertaken. The monitoring the project parameters include physical & financial progress, quality of construction, deviation from sanctioned parameters if any.
